The Torah

We believe the Torah (the five books of Moses) is the foundation of our faith and practice. As Gentile followers of Jesus, we believe that we are obligated to a great deal of the Torah. Not only that, we believe that we can participate in the commandments given specifically to the people of Israel.

In the coming weeks, we will be updating our Practical page with information on how Gentile believers can obey the commandments of Torah that we are obligated to. Additionally, there you can find information on how to observe commandments specifically given to Israel as well.

The Messiah taught that to be great in the kingdom of heaven, we should keep and teach the commandments of the Torah (Matthew 5:17-20). The beloved disciple, Yochanan, stated that the one who says he abides in [Yeshua] ought himself to walk in the same manner as he walked (1 John 2:6). To be like Yeshua, we need to obey God's commandments. This page highlights several aspects of the Torah and provides practical tips on how they can be kept.
